The Swim
When planning a swim there are a number of things which we need to take in account. The two main things that we focus on when planning are tides and the weather.
The weather can be extremely fickle (especially here in Wales). It can go from fantastic swimming weather to terrible conditions in the blink of an eye which makes planning a swim a tricky business. We obviously want you to succeed in your goal so flexibility is key.
The boat skipper spends the weeks and days before the swim monitoring the conditions and the weather to make sure you have the best chance of completing the swim. They will gather weather info and data from a range of sources to get the clearest picture possible of the conditions and suitability. We are always open and honest about the weather with you and aim to be as flexible as possible.
