Penarth to Clevedon Route   £900

This route starts on Penarth sea front and finishes at Clevedon slipway.

This is one of the shorter swims that we offer, at 11 nautical miles in a straight line. When taking into account the tides it works out to be approximately 12.5miles. 

Whilst this is one of the shorter options, it is a complex route due to the strong tides that the Bristol Channel presents and the sand banks. 

The Penarth to Clevedon Route was first swum in 1991 by Stephen Price who swan a total of 21.2km which is 11.1 nautical miles. It took him just 7 hours and 45min to complete his swim.
